Twinkling Sky
Night is the time of Contemplation. Its silence allows your inner voice to be heard more clearly as your body comes into a state of pause from its daily labour. I love star gazing. I'm grateful I can sit there and watch the spectacular show of the twinkling sky.

A New Dawn
I'm one of those people who particularly love dawns and sunsets. They remind me of the multiple micro lives we live in a lifetime. Every Dawn is the beginning of a New Chance. A chance to start over, better this time.

Nature is Pure Art
Did you ever admire nature as the most vivid painting you ever saw? I did. The details are breathtakingly Astonishing and the Delicacy of the craft is remarkable. I won't give credit for this to anyone else but God.

Drops of Life
I love rain. Not more than I love a sunny pleasant day, but enough to appreciate it as a Blessing. The drops of Life give us a lush vegetation, plentiful crops, cleaner air, soothing music to sleep on or to read and many more. Isn't this a compelling enough reason to feel grateful?

Earth is Abundant
I'm continuing the Gratitude Project with feeling thankful for the goods of Earth. Think of the smell of freshly baked bread, the sweet taste of wine, the refreshing landscape of mountains and pine trees. These are some of the true riches of our planet.

So, instead of complaining and fighting for everything over the internet, I saw a wonderful opportunity: The Gratitude Project. I made a series of small paintings in a notebook and posted them on my instagram account with meaningful messages.

Violet Skies Ahead
Colours have a specific vibration that generate certain states in humans after visualising them. The state of being Calm after looking at a sea of blue, for example. And the state of deep Contemplation when seeing violet skies.

To be Understood
Here is a painting that reveals one of my deepest desires, and I am sure, one of humanity's deepest needs: Being Understood. Enough said, right? Sometimes this is all we need. Other times there's also chocolate and so on. But this, this is to stay.

A Castle Retreat
The third and last of the Essence Trilogy is the Home, a castle here, meant as a Safe place where one can retreat and experience a glimpse of Peace. I worked on this with a clear mind and a lot of patience, so that the painting now reveals those states.

A Silent Nature
This is the second painting from the Essence Trilogy I made for my friend, and it displays Nature in a moment of Silence. I aimed it as an invitation to escape daily mayhem and break the chaotic pattern we are all trapped in, through Contemplation.
